What To Wear To an Emo Music Festival

Trying to decide on an outfit is like trying to decide what to eat: there are too many choices and I don’t know what I want yet. But since it is rapidly approaching, I’m going to take you with me through the process of putting together an outfit for an emo music festival that I’m going to in October.

If you were emo in the 2000s or have yet to leave your emo phase such as myself then you’ve probably heard of When We Were Young Festival. With King for a Day being back on the billboard charts and My Chemical Romance being back on tour we really ought to call this the RAWRING 20s.

For those of you confused the festival is basically the best Warped Tour you could imagine. Over 50 bands are playing including Paramore, MCR, Bring me the Horizon, and Avril Lavigne. While it’ll probably be impossible to see all the bands you want, I’m excited to see how this all plays out. Plus it’s a reason to go to Vegas! 

And that brings us to the age-old question: but what will I wear?
